The Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching (DA) Program has officially launched the application for the 2014-2015
academic year for K-12 teachers! The DA Program is a unique international
professional development opportunity for K-12 teachers. By conducting
educational research abroad, U.S. teachers gain new skills, learn new
instructional methods and assessment methodologies and share best practices
with international colleagues and students. This program is sponsored by the
U.S. Department of State and administered by the Institute of International
Education (IIE). For 2014, US teachers can select to go to one of the following
countries: Chile, Finland, India, Israel, Mexico, Morocco, Palestinian
Territories, Singapore or the United Kingdom.
